Are you looking to slow down? In need of stress reduction and healing? Then restorative yoga may be for you. It is one of our gentlest classes and specifically designed for those who wish to find healing and recovery physically and emotionally, and to learn to release chronic tension and stress. It includes learning how to use props like blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps to find the support that you need for deep relaxation, all while supported by the breath. The focus of this class is to create an experience for you of deep relaxation and mindfulness. No prior meditation or yoga experience is needed, just a willingness to listen and cultivate an inner awareness of what’s happening in your body, mind and heart. You will leave class with a sense of deep relaxation and calm on every level and with a feeling of balance and contentment.
